While I was searching the internet trying to find a person to present for the last Black Fashion First Friday's, I came across BlackAmericaWeb.com. And to my happiness, they sum up their opinion of "The 10 Most Influential Blacks in US Fashion" from the mid-60s to today. It is a lot easier to read about all the achievements that have been made on one website, rather than navigating back and forth through different sites. Through this particular article, you are able to read about the breakthroughs of early pioneers, and the later indirect results of their achievements, which have impacted current successful Blacks in fashion. So take some time to read a few of these mini bios of Blacks that paved the way in fashion while Black History Month comes to a close. Let this be an inspiration and reminder that with hard work and passion, anything can be accomplished.
